This is a weblog following my adventures and misadventures as a new umass student

Aright, checkit. Paul Pierce is on a ridiculous tear. He's scored 30 points in seven consecutive games (a Celtics record), as well as in 11 out of the last 12. He's also made the game winning shot in 3 of the last four games. I now have my first regret in life. I regret ever suggesting that we should have traded this man. Sure he's older than the rest of the team. Sure he'll probably be a virtual nonfactor by the next time we start contending for a championship. But this guy is giving fans a resurgence of Celtic Pride not felt since Antoine Walker departed for South Beach to join up with Shaq and the Heat. Another great story around these last few games has been the explosion of great play from rookie power forward Ryan Gomes. Gomes is a product of Providence college, where he starred for four years. In other exciting news, the rat squirrel has been sighted. This animal was previously thought to be extinct. Here's a picture of the stout young Gomes.
